You can help. Becoming a League Approved Assistant Referee (LAAR) gets you in the game but not in the spotlight. You'll be able to do regular league games as an Assistant Referee, NEVER as a Referee. You'll be paid and assigned just like other referees. We're just going to put it in referee terms. The process is simple. With a few hours of training you'll get your LAAR approval. The training consists of some offline study, video learning modules and associated quizzes, and two hours of field training. It doesn't sound like much but it will get you started.
